Modern Olympics today differs in terms of participation, cultural and political set up and is much more liberal and open. In the Ancient Olympics, Greek domination was apparent. Knowledge of Greek was the basic and the only entrance criterion. Unlike modern Olympic, Ancients one used to be held only in the Greek city of Olympia.
